In the past, Hornibrook NGI manufactured specialised transport equipment, as well as structural, and hydraulics component repair, under a subsidiary company "Howard Porter (PNG) Ltd. In 1998 that company was amalgamated, so that transport engineering activities are now performed under the Hornibrook banner.

Capabilities include:

• A retail truck and trailer spare parts outlet in Malaita Street, lae;
• Structural and hydraulic repairs of trucks and trailers;
• New Boiled products which comprise;
• Fuel tankers with both aluminium, stainless and mild steel barrels,
• Elliptical tanks for road transport of fuel,
• Perimeter framed drop deck trailers as used by the Porgers subcontractors,
• Skel and tri-axle semi trailers,
• Side lifters,
• "B Double" trailers,
• Low loaders to 70 tonne load capacity,
• Timber jinkers to 70 tonne load capacity,
• A variety f dump and tipping bodies
• Truck flatbed decks to 27 feet in length,
• Utility coffee bodies,
• Farm and agricultural trailers such as 'dog trailers'
• 40 Toner 'Cleanline' fruit bins for the oil palm industry, and
• Permanent or removable PMV frames for passenger transport.
