
The Company is very fortunate to have acquired large tracts of land at Lae 9 mile, and with current and future proposed developments, we are seeing the early formation of a satellite suburb to Lae, inspired by Hornibrook vision. It is expected that as development proceeds, this will be the conduit for increased retail and commercial development within the area to support the increasing significance of Lae as a manufacturing hub and gateway to The Highland Region and oil, gas and mining activity.
Hornibrook NGI Property Division commenced with the purchase of the Awilunga Estate at 9 Mile, Lae in 2007

Awilunga Estate which is situated approximately 12 kilometres from Lae City on the main Highlands Highway and comprises of over 30 houses, as well as a large office building which is currently leased to Morobe Mining Joint Venture. The total size of Awilunga is 62 acres and comprises low to high covenant housing set in beautiful landscaped park like surroundings .While a number of houses are reserved for Hornibrook NGI Staff and their families, more houses and duplex units are being added for external rental.
The Company is currently building an additional 12 duplexes to cater for increased housing demands and in addition is about to commence construction on a eighty room fully serviced hotel with bar and restaurant. This will be constructed on Awilunga Estate and is designed to cater for business people for short term and longer term accommodation requirements, both for Morobe Mining and the general public.

Hornibrook NGI is in the process of building 150 houses to be leased to Morobe Mining Joint Venture (MMJV), to support The Hidden Valley Mining projects for staff and their families. Approximately a third of the 150 houses on the estate have been built over the past year.
Each house takes approximately 12-13 weeks to complete with a house being handed over every 3-4 days. Each house is built to Australian standards with 4 bedrooms, fully furnished with modern decor, air-conditioning, individual water and septic tanks per house as well as round the clock security and maintenance. This estate provides a secure environment for its tenants without having to have individual fences around each house.
Hornibrook Industrial Park
This area is 9.4 hectares and is located immediately opposite Awilunga and Valley View Estates on the main Highlands Highway.
Located at 9mile, Lae is the site of the future Hornibrook Industrial Park. This will comprise of

• Refuelling Truck Stop
• Manufacturing Warehousing Facilities
• Hardstand Storage Area
Construction is currently underway with completion expected for late 2010 early 2011
Hornibrook Housing Estate
This development will take place on a further 600 acres located near Awilunga Estate and running down to The Markham River.
This large area of land is earmarked principally for housing, when fully planned and approved for construction will be available for purchase as company estates or individual homes. This is scheduled for completion in 2011.
